Having, People, Long, date, before, usually

How long do people usually date before having sex?

I've got to write a story about a couple in a relationship for school, and it would be really helpful to know how long people usually date before sleeping together. I'm not sexually active (don't wanna be till I'm married) and none of my friends are, so I don't know how long is normal.

Obviously, I know it totally depends on the person, but if you could give me a rough average, that would be great.

The couple in my story are completely secular and like each other a lot.

i waited like two months,

uhm normally people wait for like 8 or like a year before they go and do that.
